You are not alone

It's really easy to think, especially in regional and rural areas, that you are alone and isolated. The reality is that LGBTQIA+ plus people have always existed and gathered together. It was sometimes done privately, but there is a history in Tamworth of individuals and groups forming social and support groups.

This page is a work in progress and Hey Vernon would love to hear from anyone who can help expand on Tamworth Queer History. We'd love to hear stories, read or view historical media from groups and meet participants. You can share anonymously via the mailbox or via email too.
